February 10–11

The It’s All About Water Film Festival is a two-day event featuring eight films that exploreconcerns about water pollution and sustainability. Local officials, filmproducers, and activists will lead panel discussions following each film. TheNew Mexico Wilderness Alliance, Amigos Bravos, Food & Water Watch, and theSierra Club sponsor the event, which is held at the South Broadway CulturalCenter in Albuquerque. Admission is free. February 10-12

The traveling Broadway productionof top musical My Fair Lady dances into Albuquerque’s Popejoy hall this weekend. Ticketsare still available, so it’s not too late to join in!

“The horse knows the way to carry the sleighthrough the white and drifted snow” at the Valles Caldera Sleigh Ride. Tour the 89,000-acre Valles Caldera National Preservebehind a team of two draft horses. The cherry-red wooden sleighs comfortablyfit 12 people and lots of blankets (bring your own to stay extra toasty on thishour-long ride). You’ll likely see wildlife, and a guide will share a historyof the land. February 11

Did you know that male roadrunnerswoo their potential mates by presenting them with dead mice? If you want toknow more about animal courtship, Valentine’s Day at the Zoo is for you. Bring your loved one(s) to the Zoo, part of theABQ BioPark, where special Discovery Stations will offer information aboutanimal mating and courtship, including how the zoo acts as a “dating service”for endangered animals, such as gorillas, elephants, and wolves. February 11–12

Angel Fire celebrates one of its favorite winter traditionsthis weekend with the Shovel Races,in which entrants zip downhill while sitting on show shovels. Cash prizes go tothe fastest rides. There are separate (Lil’ Scooper) races for kids. Saturdayis race day; on Sunday, join in fun rides down the course.

February 15

Jazz musician Glenn Miller disappeared in December 1944, buthis music lives on. See for yourself when the Glenn Miller Orchestra takes the stage at the Rio Grande Theatre inLas Cruces. “A band ought to have a sound all of its own,” Miller once said.“It ought to have a personality.” Swing the night away with classics such as I’ve Got a Gal in Kalamazoo and Tuxedo Junction. The tunes are sure tobe perfect, as the group plays an average of 300 live dates a year. “It isn’toften that we’re presented with a guaranteed crowd pleaser,” says Rio GrandeTheatre manager David Salcido. “The Glenn Miller Orchestra is exactly that: aworld-class act with a repertoire that spans generations.”

February 15

MichaelOndaatje and CarolynForché come to the Lensic as part of the Lannan Foundation’s Readings & Conversations series. Ondaatje, author of the 1992novel The English Patient, will shareexperts from his most recent book, TheCat’s Table. The book was 23^rd on The New York Times’ Best Seller list in October, and is about ayoung boy traveling to England on a huge ocean liner. Forché, a poet, professor, anddirector of the Georgetown Lannan Center for Poetics and Social Practice willinterview Ondaatje following the reading. The event will conclude with a booksigning.

Through February 5

The second annual Santa Fe Winter Fiesta wraps up this weekend. The culminating events includeWinterBrew: A Craft Brew and Comfort Food Festival (Friday), the MountainAdventures Trails to Treats Snowshoe Scavenger Hunt (Saturday), and theCowgirl’s Game Day Party and Concert (Sunday). Restaurants, hotels, and retailstores will offer specials throughout the weekend, and the city offers free shuttlesto help fiesta-goers get from place to place.

February 3–5

“Snowkiting is a real accessible kite sport,”says Traveler Terpening, co-founder of the Southwest Snowkite Festival at Eagle Nest Lake State Park east of Taos. “If you’re a skier or asnowboarder, all you need to do is learn how to fly a kite.” Learn how—forfree—at this year’s festival, which features demonstrations and lessons forboth novice and experienced kiters. Warm up afterward with barbecues, bonfires,and hot tubs by the lake. “New Mexico is a superior place to snowkite—lots ofsnow, good wind,” explains Terpening. “Come out and be surrounded by kiteculture.” (The festival is dependent on snow conditions, so call ahead; free(donations accepted). February 4

If you’re an America’s Got Talent fan, you likely sawthe Texas Tenors croon their way tofourth place on Season 4 in 2009. The Stetson-wearing trio—JC Fisher, MarcusCollins, and John Hagen—comes to Ruidoso’s Spencer Theater for an evening ofharmonies. Get there early for a pre-show southern buffet ($20). Barbecuebrisket, mac and cheese, fried okra, jalapeno cheese bread, and buttermilk pieare sure to get you in the mood for these Lone-Star singers.

February 5

Work up anappetite for your Super Bowl Party by tackling the Touchdown for the Homeless Run in Albuquerque. The event includes acostume contest, so if you’re feeling particularly spirited, dress up in yourteam’s colors (or Madonna, if the halftime show is more your thing). The 5- and10K races start at Valley High School, and proceeds benefit the city’s homelesschildren and families.

Through February 26

Although New Mexico is knownfor traditional Native American and Hispanic arts, the artists featured in This Place Where I’m From: Three Emerging New Mexico Artists, at Albuquerque’sNational Hispanic Cultural Center, exemplify today’s contemporary art scene.From super-hero saints to psychedelic New Mexican landscapes, the work of Robb Rael, Jocelyn Lorena Salaz,and Vicente Telles maintains a traceof the New Mexican aesthetic but with a fresh approach. Popularly known for hisposters of Zozobra, Rael has also exhibited at Contemporary Spanish Market andWinter Spanish Market in Santa Fe. (505) 246-2261

Transformations in Tin: Tinwork of Spanish Market Artists opens today at the Museum ofSpanish Colonial Art in Santa Fe. Now through September 30, see the work ofSpanish Market artists including Javier Lorenzo Blea, Kevin Burgess de Chávez,Christine Montaño Carey, Martha Varoz Ewing and Cristina Hernández Feldewert.Museum members can attend a members-only opening reception on Friday, January 27,from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

January 28

Catch the Free Fall Ski & Snowboard Competition at Taos Terrain Park, and then head over tothe Taos Ski alley Resort Center at the foot of Life No. 1 for the Grand Tasting, the culminating event ofthe Taos Winter Wine Festival. The evening features more than 75 wines from 30wineries, and a silent auction of rare wines benefits the Taos CommunityFoundation.

January 28–29

Another round of cross-country ski and snowshoe racing takesplace this weekend, this time at the Enchanted Forest XC Ski and Snowshoe Areain Red River. The Low O2 Challengekicks off with a freestyle race on Saturday morning, and 10K ski and snowshoeevents on Sunday. Snowshoers: place in the top two in your age group, andyou’ll qualify for the United States Snowshoe Association NationalChampionships.

January 29

The Peking Acrobats return to Popejoy Hall at the University of NewMexico in Albuquerque for the third consecutive year. The troupe has longamazed audiences worldwide, and is back by popular demand. Accompanied by alive orchestra, the gymnasts, jugglers, cyclists, and tumblers will executefeats that will entertain the whole family. Two performances: 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.Info: (505) 277-3824.

February 1-3

Three belovedfairytales come to life this month in performances by the Moscow Festival Ballet. On February 1, Popejoy Hall, inAlbuquerque, presents Sleeping Beauty,the cornerstone of classic ballet repertory, choreographed by Marius Petipa toTchaikovsky’s music. Wash those winter blues right out ofyour hair with Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific at Popejoy Hall inAlbuquerque. Set on a tropical island during World War II, the musical includessongs such as “Some Enchanted Evening,” and “There is Nothin’ Like a Dame.”

January 20–22

Native culturewill be celebrated at the Red Paint PowWow in Silver City, part of the homeland of the Chiricahua Apache people.The event is hosted by the Red Paint Pow Wow Council in tribute and recognitionof the Apaches, and competitions will include gourd and hoop dances. The eventwill also include storytellers, and an Indian Market featuring an estimated 70booths where visitors can shop for Native American art.

January 21

The second annual Taste of Rio Rancho comes to the Santa Ana Star Center. More than 15 local eaterieswill offer free samples—cuisine includes Mexican, Chinese, Indian< Italianand more, so there’s sure to be something for everyone.

January 25–28
Hit the slopes at the Taos Ski Valley, then chill out with wine seminars andtastings at various local restaurants during the 26^th annual Taos Winter Wine Festival. More than 35 wineries and 20 restaurants willbe represented; winery dinners and après ski tastings will be held each day.The Grand Tasting, held Saturday at the Taos Ski Valley Resort Center, features150 different wines, great food, and a silent auction to benefit the TaosCommunity Foundation.

January 26

Juane Quick-to-See Smith: Creating an Artist’s Lifeis the opening lecture for the JauneQuick-to-See Smith: Landscapes of an American Modernist exhibit showing atthe Georgia O’Keeffe Museum this month. During the lecture, held at theScottish Rite Center in Santa Fe, Smith will describe her life, from her birthin Montana to her first solo exhibition in New York City. Over the years, she’searned a reputation as an artist, teacher, environmentalist and curator ofContemporary Native American Art.

January 13

Crece Como Va, a New Mexico Centennial Celebration in Art opens at Fuller Lodge ArtCenter in Los Alamos. Attend the opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m., where youcan discuss the exhibit—and the state motto for which the exhibit is named—overa delicious salsa bar with many of the 28 exhibiting artists. If you can’t makeit on Friday, the show is up till February 18.

January 14–15

The 19^thannual Mesilla Valley Balloon Rallykicks off early Saturday morning when more than 35 hot-air balloons take to theskies at the Brown Farm Field north of Las Cruces. Enjoy mass ascensions,tethered rides, and a balloon glow. The British Motor Club of Southern NewMexico and West Texas also plans to display vintage motor coaches on the launchfield.

January 14–16

Northern New Mexico is covered in snow, sorecreational and competitive athletes alike will enjoy this weekend’s Chama Chile Ski Classic—three daysincluding seven races, live music, yurt tours, ski clinics, and a chilicontest. January 18

Santa Fe’sLannan Foundation has a tradition of supporting the work of exceptionalcontemporary artists and writers. In its newest series of Readings and Conversations,the non-profit agency will present an evening with John Sayles, an independent filmmaker, screenwriter, and authorwhose newest work is A Moment in the Sun,at the Lensic Center for Performing Arts. Author Francisco Goldman, best known for his award-winning novel The Long Night of White Chickens, willhost the conversation.

Happy Birthday, New Mexico! Thestate celebrates its 100^th birthday today, and celebrations abound(visit www.nmcentennial.org for the complete listing). Among the mostanticipated events is the Grand Centennial Ball—at $250 a ticket, the affair includes cocktails, athree-course dinner, live music, and dancing at the Santa Fe Convention Center.Proceeds help establish the Centennial Children’s Legacy Fund to enhance theeducation and welfare of New Mexico’s children.

January 6

On Three Kings Day, many New Mexico pueblos participate in the Passingof the Canes, a private ceremony in which the silver-topped canes firstbestowed on Pueblo leaders by President Abraham Lincoln are passed to newleaders. Pueblo buffalo, deer, eagle and elk dances coincide with the event andare open to the public. For each pueblo’s contact information and directions, please visitwww.indianpueblo.org.

January 6–7

Don your boots andchaps for the 16^th annual Casper Baca Bares Broncs & Bulls Spectacular Rodeo at the San Juan County Fairgrounds in Farmington. Morethan 200 contestants will participate in the event, including dozens of bullriders in open and novice categories. (505) 287-9534

January 7

The Santa Fe Striders running clubhosts the Santa Fe Snowshoe Classic,a 3.6-mile race along the Norski Track Ski Trail off Hyde Park Road. REI willbe on-site to rent snowshoes. All participants will receive knit hats, and handmadepottery will be awarded to the top finishers in each age group.

January 6–November 25

When New Mexico became a state,its star wasn’t immediately added to the United States’ flag. By the time itwas, Arizona had also joined the union—meaning the number of stars on the flagjumped from 46 to 48. That didn’t prevent some enthusiastic New Mexicans fromcreating a U.S. flag that reflected our status as the 47th state. See 47Stars, an exhibit of the officially unofficial 47-star flag, at the NewMexico History Museum in Santa Fe, one of several long-term museum exhibitscommemorating statehood. (505) 476-5200

January 7

Las Cruces celebrates NewMexico’s becoming a centenarianwith a Centennial Parade.Beginning at 11:00 a.m., the pageant will devote 10 minutes to each decade ofstatehood, resulting in a 100-minute long event. Floats representing the eventsand people representing each decade will travel down the route, which followsthe historic Camino Real de Tierra Adentro (now Mesquite Street) and newlyreopened portions of Main Street. January 7

Constructed from1911 to 1916, the Elephant Butte Dam created one of the most popular waterrecreation areas in the state. However, since September 11, 2001, the Dam hasbeen closed to traffic. For one day only, Sierra County is opening the dam tovisitors. The celebration begins with a flag ceremony, speeches, music, andfood, then the long-anticipated Walk Across the Dam. January 8

Tune into KUNM (89.9 FM in Albuquerque and SantaFe) to hear a special Centennial Project radio-theater broadcast. Night Over Taos is atwo-and-a-half hour program depicting the 1847 Taos Revolt and its aftermath. Theevening begins with a performance of Maxwell Anderson’s historical drama NightOver Taos, followed by a panel discussion by New Mexico historians. 6 to8:30 p.m.

You don’t have to go all the way to Nevada to have a rockin’ NewYears in Las Vegas. Buy tickets ($20 in advance, $25 at the door) to the Black Tie & Blue Jeans Ball at thePlaza Hotel in Las Vegas, NM. Starting at 9 p.m., dance the night away to TheRifters and Jeff Romero & the Rainy Morning Blues Band. Here are a few of our favorite events fromaround the state:

December 22

TheNutcracker has been a holiday favorite for more than a century. Thisyear, Tchaikovsky’s Christmas classic is performed at several locations aroundNew Mexico. In Taos, the Russian Bolshoi Ballet performs at the Arthur BellAuditorium at the Harwood Museum. Farther south, Concordia Santa Fe presents TheNutcracker (Swing!), which includes a performance of Duke Ellington andBilly Strayhorn’s jazz arrangement of the original Nutcracker suite. For a New Mexican twist, check out FestivalBallet Albuquerque’s Nutcracker Ballet in the Land of Enchantmentat the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Attend an afternoon or eveningperformance, and get lost in a magical world of dancing soldiers, sugar plumfairies, mice, and of course, nutcrackers.

December 23
From 6 to 8 p.m., Navajo Ministries presents Live Navajo Nativity at the Four Corners Home for Children inFarmington. The 27^th annual re-enactment features traditional Navajoclothing, live animals and local children. 505-325-0255, 888-325-0255

December 24

Christmas Eve events occur allacross the state, but some of our favorites are the Torchlight Paradesat ski areas such as Angel Fire, Red River and Taos Ski Valley. Los Alamosoffers a Luminaria Skate at the town’s outdoor ice rink, while Santa Fehosts its annual Farolito Walk down Canyon Road. You’ll also findluminarias and music on the plaza in Mesilla.

December24

Native American Christmas Eve eventsinclude a Farolito Tour at AcomaPueblo and the Christmas Eve Procession of the Virgin at TaosPueblo. Traditional dances are held atLaguna Pueblo, NambePueblo, Picuris Pueblo, Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo, SanFelipe Pueblo, Santa Ana Pueblo and TesuquePueblo. The New Mexico PuebloFiber Arts Guild presents the first annual PuebloFiber Arts Show at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque. Meet theweavers, and purchase beautiful handmade gifts for the holidays—embroidery,spinning, knitting, crochet, basketry and more.

December17

The FBS post-season kicks off when the Wyoming Cowboys takeon the Temple Owls in the sixth annual GildanNew Mexico Bowl. Head down to University Stadium on the UNM campus, orwatch the game live on ESPN. Both teams are ranked 8-4, but the Cowboys wonhere (against Fresno State) in 2009—can they do it again?

December17

Jumpinto some warm clothes and grab your binoculars, then join other birderwatchers at the Riverside Nature Center in Farmington for the 43rd annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count. Birdwatchers can count while hiking up to five miles along the Animas River orcount back at the Center at bird feeders. Past sightings include bald eagles,multiple species of hawks, waterfowl, and sparrows, as well as woodpeckers,chickadees and finches. The Center also offers binoculars and identificationguides, and weekly bird-identification courses Fee: $5 donation to the NationalAudubon Society. 8: 30 a.m.–4 p.m. (505) 325-8619

Hit the slopes, then enjoy a pint (or several) at the 16^thannual Brew Master’s Festival at theTaos Ski Valley. The party starts at 4:30 p.m. at Tenderfoot Katie’s and theMartini Tree, at the base of Chair 1. $25 gets you a souvenir glass, food anddrink (you must be 21 or older to attend). For a more family friendly event, check out the Lighting of the Trees and Village Partyat the Stray Dog Cantina at 3:30 p.m., which includes free s’mores, hot drinks,giveaways, and Santa Clause riding on a fire truck.

December 17–18

Experience Carlsbad Caverns like those who first discoveredit – by candlelight. Historic figures will tell stories of the past during the Carlsbad Cavern Historic Lantern Tour, whereyou’ll explore the Big Room and experience a black out at the Rock of Ages.Reservations and tickets are required; call (575) 785-3152 or stop by theCarlsbad National Park Visitor Center.

Thepopularity of last year’s holiday-concerts program with music from the 18th and19th centuries was so overwhelming that the Taos Chamber Music Group made sureto do it again this year by presenting A Classical Holiday Encore in the Arthur BellAuditorium at the Harwood Museum of Art in Taos. Accomplished musicians Mark Rush (violin), Elena Sopoci (violin/viola),Dana Winograd (cello), Patrick Neher (double bass), and Nancy Laupheimer(flute) will perform Mozart’s Trio,Beethoven’s String Trio, Haydn’s Trio, Rossini’s Sonata a Quattro No. 3, and Devienne’s Flute Quartet. Duke City RepertoryTheatre presents Wooden Snowflakes, by playwright Catherine Bush. In thisproduction, Eve Lawson is a weary, bitter unbeliever—with no faith in God, loveor even Santa Claus. When her car slides off an icy road on Christmas Eve, shetakes shelter in the cabin of a woodcarver who is her exact opposite. Can hehelp her rediscover the meaning of Christmas?

December9

Experience a cowboy Christmas when the Flying J Wranglerscome to the Macey Center in Socorro. This quintet is known for western-styleharmonies, instrumentals and down-home humor. “This would be a great time to saddle up in your finest western wear,”says Performing Arts Director Ronna Kalish. “Enjoy a group that knows westernmusic from its roots and delivers a spectacular and spirited show.”

December 10

The streets of LosAlamos have been plowed, and the sun is forecasted to shine for the firstannual High Altitude Half Marathon and5k Fun Run. Starting at 7,300 feet, the total elevation change is 700 feetover 13.1 miles. November 4-10

Union Pacific's Steam Locomotive No. 844 will chug through NewMexico in honor of the state's Centennial. Visitors can view the train atevents and whistle stops in Logan, Tucumcari, Santa Rosa, Vaughn, Carrizozo, Alamogordo, SantaTeresa, Deming and Lordsburg. Tucumcari’s Fired Up Festival (November 4) is the official kickoff event forthe Centennial and will feature art, music, food, performing arts and even aCentennial hot-air balloon in addition to the train.

November 4-6

Since 1982,Dixon-area artists have been connecting with the public by opening theirstudios each fall, and encouraging visitors to enjoy traditional andcontemporary fine arts and crafts in the context of their hometown. The DixonStudio Tour officially starts on Saturday, but begin the festivities earlywith a reception at the Embundo Valley Community Center, where the “CollectedWorks” show will exhibit pieces from all participating artists. The Dona Ana Arts Councilhosts the 40^th annual RenaissanceArtsFair in Las Cruces. The largest juried art show in southern New Mexiconot only features local and regional artists and entertainers, but givesfair-goers a chance to feast on turkey legs, paddle canoes on Young Park Lake,and watch “Robert the Ratcather” catapult rodents. Mind and body artists willoffer henna body art, face painting, and psychic readings. Young artists (inRenaissance dress, of course!) may sell their work at the Children’s RealmPeddler’s Market, where they can also board apirate ship, shoot arrows and make their own crowns.

If you enjoyed the2006 hit movie Night at the Museum,you’ll want to attend Halloween at theHarwood in Taos for a morning of spooky fun at the historic Taos art museum. Kidscan search for skeletons and create their own skeleton puppets or skull masks. Adultscan come back to the museum that evening for a screening of Judith Pearlman’s Bauhausin America. The 1995 documentary examines the Bauhaus (“house ofconstruction”) architecture revolution.

Producing more than 70 million pounds of pecans a year, New Mexico isamong the top-three pecan growing states. Eat your share at the New Mexico Pecan Festival at MesillaValley Maze in Las Cruces. Forsix months, members of the Potter’s Guild of Las Cruces have been creatingbowls – more than 1,000 of them – at the Las Cruces Museum of Art. On Friday,you can take one home by attending the 19^th annual Empty Bowls,which benefits El Caldito Soup Kitchen. In addition to a souvenir bowl,attendees can also win handmade pottery in a silent auction while enjoyingsoup, bread and drinks donated by local restaurants.

Santa Fe’s Academy for Technologyand the Classics is hosting its first-ever FlamingChicken Trail Run this weekend. Tackle 3.1 miles through arroyos and hillsnorth of the Turquoise Trail, or opt for the more low-key 2-mile fun run.Kenyan runners will pace the event and hold a post-race clinic.

Headto the Albuquerque Hopfest to taste craft beers from more than 40 breweries,including local favorites like Marble Brewery (out of Albuquerque), Santa FeBrewing Company, and Turtle Mountain Brewing (out of Rio Rancho). Plus, ninebands will hit three stages at this rollicking event held at Hard Rock Hoteland Casino in Albuquerque. Tickets from $30 at the gate.

Snow is on the Sangre de Cristo Mountains,which means ski season is right around the corner. The famous Yei-patternedrugs depicting deities are traditionally woven in the Shiprock area. Take in an inter-tribal powwow, Native artsand crafts, an Indian market, a parade, livestock exhibits, a rodeo, the MissNorthern Navajo, traditional Navajo social song and dance, and a barbecue andchile cookoff.

Get into the Western swing at the Lincoln County Cowboy Symposium, where, for the second weekend each Octobereverybody dons a hat and boots and becomes a cowhand, if only for the weekend.Head to the Ruidoso Downs for a junior rodeo, County and Western music, and,the weekend highlight, the World Championship Chuckwagon Competition, aDutch-oven cook-off where the chefs earn awards for not only their tastybiscuits but also their period dress.

The stunning, natural terrain ofGeorgia O’Keeffe Country becomes more visually spectacular when 34 area artistsopen their studios to the public during the Abiquiú Studio Tour. See examples of the micaceous clay ceramics ofthe region, traditional Native and Hispanic pottery, retablos, santos andfurniture, as well as contemporary paintings, sculpture, photography, jewelry,glass, textiles, wearable art, and much more. Retrace the adventurouscross-country routes of our most famous outlaw on Billy the Kid’s Regulator Ride, a five-day jaunt on horseback thatfollows The Kid’s hoof prints from John Tunstall killing to the outlaw’s escapefrom the Lincoln County Courthouse. Each day’s ride starts from the WortleyHotel in Lincoln (lodging not included), and a $1,897 fee includes a horse,tack, three meals a day, and historian guides Bob Boze Bell, executive editorof True West Magazine, and Steve Sederwell, a retired Lincoln County deputy whohelped find authentic “Billy sites” for this ride and has made solving themystery of William Henry McCarty his life’s passion.

A festive musicalatmosphere awaits the whole family at theTaos Wool Festival in Kit Carson Park, where visitors can admire live sheep, alpacas, llamas,goats, and angora rabbits as well as the myriad of products that are producedfrom the critters. Watch competitions in the hand-spinning of wool and fleece;taste lamb delicacies and goat cheeses; witness demonstrations of shearing,spinning, dyeing, and other fiber-related skills; participate in a silentauction; and shop at an outstanding regional wool market that features juriedvendors displaying their wool fiber, yarns, and artistic creations.

Situated in thebeautiful western foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, about 25 milesnortheast of Santa Fe, Nambe Pueblo will once again celebrate centuries oftradition during its annual St. Francisof Assisi Feast Day. A 9 a.m. Mass that begins the festivity in the St.Francis Church on the pueblo is followed by traditional Native dances thatfeature young and old tribal members performing in riveting Pueblo-cultureregalia. Buffalo and Deer dances have been preformed in the past, but the exactdances aren’t determined until just before the event by tribal leaders. (505)455-2036

Thereare few things in life more delightful than venturing into the Sangre de CristoMountains and listening to good music at The Santa Fe Opera on a beautifulautumn evening. More than 70artists and craftsmen who live along the High Road will open their studios andhomes (on N.M. 73, 75 and 76) between Chimayó and Vadito to visitors interestedin paintings, ceramics, sculpture, woodcarving, and more.
